John, Pete Buttigieg is telling Americans the truth: The Electoral College is undemocratic.  

It disenfranchises millions of Americans in every Presidential election — and now the UVA Center for Politics is predicting that in 2024, our President will be decided by the outcome in just 4 Swing-States. 

But — there is an alternative!

In just the past few months, Americans have made amazing gains with the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact. It's become law in Minnesota, and legislation is moving through statehouses in Michigan, Maine, Nevada and Alaska.

Now we've reached a critical moment. We're very nearly there, John, but legislation to join the NPVIC is being held up by Republican legislatures in too many stateshouses across the nation, and we are running out of time. If we want to END the Electoral College ahead of the next Presidential election, we've got to kickstart this movement today.
