John, it’s California Governor Gavin Newsom.
House Democrats are just 5 days away from the critical end-of-quarter deadline and need our help. This deadline is an opportunity for this grassroots team to show its strength and come one step closer to taking back the House. House Democrats can’t do it without us, John, so I'm asking: Will you chip in $3 before the end of the quarter to help take back the House?
As you read this, the DCCC’s work to take back the House from Republicans becomes more and more important.
They are banning books.
They make it harder to vote.
They criminalize abortion access.
They deny the climate crisis.

Here’s the good news: Democrats need to flip just FIVE seats to win back control of the House, and my friends at the DCCC are targeting SEVEN vulnerable Republicans in California alone.
There are so many families -- real people -- who will be impacted by the result of 2024.
It won't be easy, I am clear-eyed about that. But if we all pitch in a little and make a concerted effort, we can get House Democrats over the finish line.
The future is not something to experience, it's something to manifest. It's decisions, not conditions, that determine our fate and future.
