I’ll explain more in a moment, but first: This email will be a little bit longer than usual. So if you don’t have time to read it (that’s okay!), can I count on you to chip in before our FEC end-of-quarter deadline on September 30th? This is our most important end-of-quarter deadline yet, so I’d be eternally grateful for your grassroots support.
Allow me to explain... After the month ends on September 30th, our campaign will be legally required to submit our internal fundraising numbers to the FEC. As you may remember from previous end-of-quarter deadlines, these numbers will be made publicly available for anyone and everyone to see. That means everyone from political reporters to Republican strategists can scour our fundraising report to look for signs of weakness. Safe to say, publishing a strong fundraising report could not be more important.
I know I’ve said this before, but asking people to chip in to my campaign is my least favorite part of the job. I ran for Congress to push for progress and fight for you – so you can trust that I wouldn’t ask for your money if I didn’t have to. But the reality is: With dangerous, deep-pocketed Republicans gearing up to flip this seat and expand their extremist Majority, I’m going to need your grassroots support to prove the strength of our campaign, defend this ultra-competitive district, and take back the House. That all starts with posting the strongest end-of-quarter fundraising report possible. So look, we’re just five days away from the end of the quarter and my finance team tells me that we still have $15,000 left to raise. This grassroots team has never let me down before, so I have to ask: Will you rush $5 to help us hit our must-reach end-of-quarter goal before September 30th?
Thank you so much, Andrea |
