INTERNS

Hi! My name is Victoria and I am a current student at UCSD graduating in June with the intent to pursue a law degree in Fall 2021.
I decided to intern with Border Angels as a way to make a difference in the community, and take action to help contribute to creating change in the current political climate. It also means a lot to me to be able to have the opportunity to provide support to Border Angels because of my family's experience with migration at the U.S. Mexico border.

Hello, my name is Marla Delgado. I am a senior at San Diego State University where I’ll be attaining a bachelors in Communication this May! Woohoo!
The reason I wanted to intern with Border Angels is a byproduct of my genuine concern for the equality of human welfare and doing my part to make this organization flourish even more!

** Border Angels Update
------------------------------------------------------------
This morning, Director Dulce Garcia publically addressed the misconceptions that the Border Patrol informs.
1. Border Patrol agent used needless tactics and and shifted the atmosphere to be more hostile.
2. Border Patrol agents were towering behind Dulce but despite all actions and words from BP, Dulce continued to fight for social injustice against undocumented immigrants.

Thank you to Global Immersion
for creating a space for Border Angels and Border Patrol to engage in discussions about issues that matter. What issues should be addressed?

“This is what I want you to think about,” Jacqueline says. “Who has the right to move in our country? Who has the right to move without running? Who has the right to live without hiding?”
