John,

As we enter the final stretch — the last week of September —, I wanted to touch base and give you an update on our end-of-quarter fundraising drive.

As you know, the end of each quarter is an important time for fundraising in Canadian politics.

Our financial records are reported to Elections Canada and made public. Fundraising numbers over the quarter are used as a proxy for support and momentum of each of the parties.

We’ve had a great year so far, 2023 is on track to be our best non-election year for fundraising! Support and momentum continue to grow!

We have to keep up this pace if we’re going to be competitive with the establishment parties in the next election.

To make sure we end the quarter strong, Max set an aggressive fundraising target of $250,000.

We’re now up to $110,000 raised in September alone, bringing us up to $196,000 on the quarter!

A huge thank you to all who have contributed!

But we’re still $54,000 away from achieving Max’s goal.

If you haven’t yet made a donation, or can afford to give a bit more, please consider making a small contribution to help us hit our goal before the deadline this Saturday.

Make a $5 donation today to help us raise $54,000 before midnight on Saturday!

Thank you for your support,

Daniel Tyrie
PPC Executive Director
