Friend of the Outdoors,
Thanks to this incredible community of supporters, we exceeded our goal to match $5,000 in gifts from our friends at Backroads, the leader in active travel, for National Public Lands Day (September 23).
That means more projects like Sweetwater Preserve in Arizona, Five Mile Creek Greenbelt in Texas, or South Chickamauga Creek Greenway in Tennessee. It means more green schoolyards accessible to the public like Jennie Reed Elementary in Tacoma, Washington.
We rely on the generosity of people just like you to fuel our mission. That’s what makes supporters coming through to help us reach this goal so meaningful. By stepping up in moments like these, you’re helping us make sure that everyone in America has unimpeded access to the outdoors within a 10-minute walk of their home.
Thank you for sharing our commitment to this work.
The team at Trust for Public Land
P.S. If you didn’t get a chance to take advantage of this match, there’s still time. We’re short of our September goal, and any amount you’re able to donate will still go a long way to bringing the outdoors to communities like yours across the country.
