Did you catch the latest update on Georgia Republicans’ voter purge?

"Georgia removed nearly 190k voters from rolls, 305k remain inactive" - FOX 5 Atlanta, September 13, 2023

Yes, you read that correctly. Nearly 190,000 Georgia voters were just removed from the rolls — potentially preventing them from voting in critical upcoming elections.

Leading up to Georgia Republicans’ voter purge, we fought back — mobilizing volunteers to call and text 49,266 impacted voters, connecting them with tools to maintain their registrations. Please consider making a donation of $20, or anything you can, to power Fair Fight’s efforts to prepare for and respond to future voter suppression attempts like this one. [[link removed]]

To put the impact of this massive voter purge into perspective, 190,000 voters is:

- More than the population of Savannah, Georgia
- More than twice the size of the crowd at a Georgia Bulldogs football game
- More than twice as much as Senator Raphael Warnock’s margin of victory in his 2022 U.S. Senate runoff race against Herschel Walker
- More than three times as much as Senator Jon Ossoff’s margin of victory in his 2020 U.S. Senate runoff race against David Perdue

And it’s just over 2% of the total number of registered voters in Georgia. That’s a crucial number of voters Republicans just disenfranchised — who, as we’ve witnessed, could determine the outcome of elections to come. To make matters worse, voters of color made up a disproportionate number of the purged voters.

It’s clear that Republican extremists are scared of the power Georgia voters hold, so they will undoubtedly stage future attempts to silence us — especially ahead of the 2024 presidential race. When these voter suppression attempts inevitably emerge, Fair Fight will continue to fight back and ensure that voters have the resources they need to make their voices heard.

Will you please rush a donation of $20 or anything you can to help prepare for and respond to the future Republican voter suppression attempts that come our way? [[link removed]]
