I wanted to take a moment and personally introduce myself.
My name is Dave McCormick, and I’m running for U.S. Senate in our great commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
I grew up in a small, rural town called Bloomsburg. It was the kind of place where, every year after Thanksgiving, the schools would close and we'd all head into the hills for the start of deer hunting season.
My parents, both educators, instilled in us that we had a responsibility to work. Summers were spent trimming Christmas trees and baling hay. To this day, my family and I still own a working farm in Bloomsburg.
On weekends, you'd find me busing tables at the local Magee Hotel, but my passion for football and wrestling gave me purpose and a sense of belonging. It also eventually led me to West Point where I wrestled in college and was co-captain of the army wrestling team. My time at West Point, followed by the army is where I built the foundation of duty, honor, and country that has guided me through life ever since.
I'm a proud combat veteran, having served in the 82nd Airborne Division during the First Gulf War. Upon returning, I became a successful businessman and job creator in Pittsburgh, watching the tech company I helped run grow from 70 employees to over 1,000.
Then, I had the great honor of serving in the highest levels of government. Afterwards, I helped lead one of the world's largest investment firms.
Today, I stand before you, reflecting on the opportunities Pennsylvania has given me.
I've truly lived the American Dream, and my life's journey reflects that. I take great pride in being a seventh-generation Pennsylvanian, deeply rooted in the heart of our commonwealth.
Pennsylvania inspired my dreams, and I am committed to ensuring that all Pennsylvanians, regardless of where they start, have the same opportunity to fulfill their potential that I had while growing up in Bloomsburg.
As it stands today, those dreams are at risk. We are at a breaking point and the direction we choose to go will chart the course for the future of Pennsylvania and our country.
But let me make one thing clear: I have a plan and the experience to move our commonwealth forward.
I am a battle-tested fighter, ready to champion our commonwealth’s interests in the U.S. Senate. Pennsylvania is not just a place to me; it's my home, and I understand the significance of this election and how it will shape our future, for better or for worse.

Thank you,
Dave McCormick
