John, this summer was the hottest summer on record by a significant margin, and it's no secret why: Climate change is fueling record-breaking heat waves all around the world.

Despite that, Louis DeJoy's U.S. Postal Service still forced postal workers to deliver mail in these dangerous temperatures without critical protections. 70% of their vehicles still don't have air conditioning. And many mail carriers do their route on foot, carrying heavy bags in the sweltering heat!

Louis DeJoy already tried to stop the USPS from climate-friendly initiatives like electrifying their fleet of delivery vehicles– now, we're seriously worried that he'll fail to protect our postal workers. It’s no wonder the U.S. Postal Service is losing a whopping 59% of its early tenure employees per year, and some remaining workers are protesting the understaffing.
