----------**If you can’t join ‘em, beat ‘em**
Today, I’d like to discuss the Republican party’s concentration on “vote harvesting,” “chasing ballots,” “banking votes,” and what it means for the 2024 elections.
For reference:
* _vote harvesting _- collecting and voting ballots that are not yours; long-running practice by the DNC, now the RNC is following suit. [Here’s a look at ballot harvesting laws by state. ]([link removed])
* _chasing ballots _- identifying households where registered voters have not yet voted and monitoring them, “chasing” them until they vote. This term seems to be lessening in popularity.
* _banking votes _- a new term conceived by the RNC, calling on Republicans to commit to vote early or by mail, thereby “banking” votes before election day. The RNC asks all voters to pledge to “bank your vote with the RNC”.
I am regularly asked what I think about the Republicans’ new _“if you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em” _mentality. Here’s what I think:
I think the uniparty is real. I believe that many, thankfully not all, but many, of our national and state elected, and the party apparatuses that support them, are no longer vying for the traditional victory of R’s or D’s, but rather for a kind of sweeping, suffocating, power by any means.
This mechanistic disregard for the individual can been seen on both sides. Each is preparing its path for American voters to follow, from the RNC’s [Bank Your Vote]([link removed]) to the DNC’s [Everybody Votes]([link removed]), hoping we are all sufficiently scared or angry enough not to notice that freedom of the individual cannot possibly survive the normalization of such mass-formation driven vote control tactics.
Sound extreme? Let’s look at the facts….
In 2020, our electoral process was pushed to the breaking point. Inaccurate voter rolls, unconstitutional changes in process, mass mail ballots, unmonitored drop boxes, foreign influence, machine failures, rampant lawlessness, wokeism as a weapon … all under the watchful eyes of corporate media and uniparty politicos who were quick to stifle any dissenting voices. “It was the most secure election ever.” To say otherwise made you an election denier and part of the Big Lie.
Since then, thousands of Americans have been indicted, jailed, bankrupted, ostracized, and silenced, all because of what happened in 2020, and the situation is getting worse, not better.
Now the uniparty is asking voters to return to that same broken system. Instead of improving the integrity of the process, party leadership is asking Americans to rely on “harvesting” and “banking” into the broken system. Asking us not to think critically about what we know to be true but rather to stay silent and go along to get along. This will not end well.
[Mattias Desmet]([link removed]) wrote in The Psychology of Totalitarianism, “A society has to stay connected with its principles and fundamental rights, such as the right to freedom of speech, self-determination, and freedom of religion or belief. If a society fails to respect these fundamental rights of the individual, if it allows fear to escalate to such an extent that every form of individuality, intimacy, privacy, and personal initiative is regarded as an intolerable threat to the collective well-being, it will decay into chaos and absurdity.”
And that is exactly what we are seeing. Chaos and absurdity. But you and I have the opportunity to change things for the better. And this is no trivial opportunity. The time is now to engage.
A majority of Americans believe our election process needs to be improved ([even CNN's polling found ]([link removed])that 58% of Americans are not at all confident in our elections). This means the system is headed for a tipping point that can be reorganized for the better. We need not rely on either party’s apparatus or their increasingly unprincipled leadership. Instead, we must rise, face these challenges, and find durable solutions. It will not be easy, but we can do it together.
How can you help? The best outcomes are from local action:
1. Connect with your local party or patriot group - if there’s not one in your hometown, think about starting one yourself.
2. Plan for and help with voter registration. Every state manages the process differently; [you can find your state’s voter registration process here.]([link removed])
3. Stay in touch with new registrants and encourage them to vote.
4. Whether you vote early or on Election Day, by mail or in person, is up to you. Above all, VOTE!
5. Don’t take people’s ballots. Take people to the polls with you.
6. Serve! You can commit a little time or a lot, but commit to being a part of the solution.
7. Don’t get caught up in national party nonsense. If you help locally, together, we can change the nation.

It may seem like a daunting task, but it isn’t. We can do this. Keep moving forward. Keep the faith. Never quit.
