John, it’s that time of year again. The leaves are changing, the temperature is getting cooler, and NFL football is back!
There’s a lot to celebrate this season — but at the top of our list is that this year we saw a record number of Black quarterbacks in starting positions in the NFL for the 2023-2024 season!
While we’re celebrating this history making accomplishment, we’re also acknowledging that there is still so much to fix. A few weeks ago NFL reporter Jim Trotter filed a racial discrimination lawsuit against the NFL, citing these direct quotes from team owners:
John, we need to know: Are you as outraged by these comments as we are?
