We’re six days from a government shutdown and there is no one else to blame but the dysfunctional House Republican majority. 

Even MAGA Republican Matt Gaetz admitted it, saying, “We cannot blame the Democrats for not having done our job.” (A broken clock is right twice a day, I guess.)

A government shutdown will be devastating for millions of Americans. Government workers will stop receiving paychecks. Programs like Meals on Wheels will be impacted, small businesses could stop receiving loans, and the broader economy will suffer across the board. But Republicans just don’t care. 

The only way to stop this chaos once and for all is by putting gavels back in the hands of Betty and her Democratic colleagues again. And that starts with reaching our $50,000 public goal by our FEC end-of-quarter deadline this Saturday, September 30.

According to the report I just ran, we still need to raise $18,741 over the next six days to reach our target. It’s a big climb and we’re counting on you to make up the difference.

Team, can I let Betty know that you pitched in when we needed you most this week? If you’re able, send $10, $25, $50 or whatever works for you to help us restore sanity, decency, and responsibility to the House.
