Democrats in the House and Senate are pushing for D.C. Statehood!

Even President Biden has voiced his support:

We couldn’t agree more. Right now, we have a razor-thin majority in the Senate, and Republicans are doing everything to prevent us from passing gun safety legislation.

If we had TWO more Senators from D.C., then we would easily be able to pass gun safety legislation, like an assault weapons ban and universal background checks.
