The EATS Act threatens animals, but it could hurt people, too. Because the measure targets laws passed at the state level, it could impact issues such as pesticide application in fields, arsenic in food, pollution standards for spraying sewage on crops, and child labor.
We’ve defeated this measure before, when it was known as the King Amendment, and we can defeat it again. But we need every animal advocate standing with us.
