The GOP can’t win a fair fight, John, which is why they rely on a bag of dirty tricks to undermine democracy and cling to power.

I’m about to give you 5 undemocratic tactics Republicans use to win elections, but first: Will you chip in $25 to help stop the GOP’s dirty tricks?

1) Voter suppression. This means voter ID laws, eliminating early voting and same-day registration, closing polling locations — you name it, the GOP will try it.

2) Gerrymandering. Drawing unfair maps to gain an upper hand and undermining democracy by trying to silence the voices of specific voting demographics.

3) Purging voter rolls. Any barriers the GOP can put up to disincentivize people from voting, they’re going to try to use.

4) Lie, lie, lie. Saying elections are stolen or illegitimate in an attempt to undermine people’s faith in election integrity is dangerous.

5) Dark money super PACs. The GOP can’t out-raise Democrats with small-dollar grassroots donors, so they turn to shady corporate PACs for funding.
