The new poll shows that Americans’ trust in our political system is at a new low. I understand why people are so frustrated. Just this month, we’ve seen the House GOP threaten benefits like Social Security and Medicare and Speaker McCarthy and his caucus push us towards impeachment and a government shutdown.

The cost of living is high, abortion freedoms are under attack in states across the country, and we’re heading towards climate catastrophe. And too many of our leaders refuse to step up.

That’s why I do everything (like working on the new Farm Bill) after getting as much input from working families in the Third District as possible.

I’m in Congress fighting for you, not for the sake of grandstanding or getting media attention.
