Ottawa County Unemployment Rate for August 2023

Preliminary unemployment rates for August 2023 were recently released by the Michigan Department of Technology, Management, and Budget. Ottawa County?s August unemployment rate is 3.5%. This rate is the sixth lowest in the state of Michigan. August rates in Michigan range from 3.0% in Livingston County to 7.0% in Oscoda County.

Unemployment rates have decreased across the year for 68 counties in Michigan, and 66 counties saw their unemployment rate decline between July and August.
