Watch Jaw-Dropping Testimony About China’s Infiltration of American Schools |
Red Creep: Through its Confucius Institutes—presented as harmless cultural programs—the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has infiltrated American universities and roughly 500 K-12 classrooms, indoctrinating the next generation in anti-American and pro-CCP propaganda. That’s what Heritage Senior Fellow Mike Gonzalez told a House subcommittee last week.
- The K-12 Confucius Classrooms and the university programs lie about Chinese history and gloss over the Chinese government’s current abuses, Gonzalez said. “A foreign communist party cannot dictate what our children learn,” he told lawmakers.
Watch Gonzalez’s testimony here. And listen to “The Daily Signal Podcast” with Rep. Aaron Bean, R-Fla., who talks about what he learned at that hearing here.
