Hi John,

Tonight’s Newshub poll confirms what Christopher Luxon has been saying - this election will be extremely close.

And John, this means that if Kiwis want change at this election, they have to vote for change.

This morning, Christopher Luxon made his preference clear for a strong, stable National-ACT government that gets our economy working for all New Zealanders.

Watch Christopher’s message here. <[link removed]>

But on this poll that coalition would only reach 60 seats.

That is 1 seat short of changing the government.

POLL RESULT

🔵National - 39.1%

🔴Labour - 26.5%

🟢Greens - 14.2%

🟡ACT - 8.8%

🟠NZ First - 5.2%

⚫Te Pāti Māori - 2.2%

John, nobody wants a situation like 2017 again. The prospect of a Labour-Greens-Te Pati Maori government is terrifying.

The message from these numbers is very clear: we need as many people as possible to party vote National to get our country back on track.

Some people seem to think this election is a foregone conclusion. It isn’t. It will be close.

National will be working around the clock right up until October 14 to ensure voters know that if they want to change the government, they cannot leave it to chance, they must party vote National.
