House Republicans are only days away from shutting down the government. Instead of working together to deliver a plan that puts working people first, the GOP is choosing political games and drama instead.

If Republicans fail to deliver a plan and let the government shut down, people across the country will be impacted. Active-duty military and federal law enforcement will have to work without pay, 10,000 children will lose access to the programs that provide them with food and education, food safety inspections will be delayed, and travelers could face unnecessary delays.

The GOP House majority is willing to put the economy at risk and disrupt our lives instead of working together to come to any type of compromise.
