It’s only been a couple of months since McCarthy and the far-right House GOP nearly caused the U.S. to default on our economy in order to force through their unpopular agenda during the debt ceiling negotiations.
Now, Republican extremists are threatening to shut down the federal government if they don’t get everything they ask for, including sweeping cuts to vital services like education and health care into the appropriations bills.
This is not how you govern, team. Americans want our leaders working with one another to pass the policies they desperately need. That’s why it’s critical that Democrats regain control of the House so we can get back to the important work that lies ahead.

When Democrats controlled the House, Congress passed several key pieces of bipartisan legislation, including the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, which delivered record-breaking investments into our nation’s crumbling infrastructure.
The Democratically-controlled Congress also passed the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act , the first major federal gun control law in decades . This critical legislation closed gun law loopholes and implemented new gun violence prevention policies, as well as made significant investments in mental health services and community safety that are saving lives.
This is the kind of leadership the American people need from their representatives in Washington. Will you make a contribution so that we can ensure Democrats hold this district, flip the House blue, and get back to passing the legislation our country needs? [[link removed]]
