We need to start a little early.

Since we won re-election last year, we’ve tried to scale down the amount of fundraising emails we send.

We're still setting ambitious goals, and we still have a lot of work to do.

But if your inbox is anything like mine, it’s probably full of worthy causes and candidates who need help.

We want to make sure they get the space they need.

When we do ask, we hope you understand that it’s because it’s important.

When we ask you to contribute, it’s to continue building on our success in Arizona. It’s to support our friends in tough races. It’s $3 to hold the Senate, and make sure it’s still a place where science, data, and facts inform our decisions — not politics.

That’s why we’re starting a little bit early this month. We need to get a head start on our official FEC deadline. Our numbers go public once this deadline hits, and we need to show that this team is still as strong as it ever has been.
