Katie believes in treating Porter Supporters with the respect you
deserve—and that means being honest with you about what is real and
urgent. That includes our fundraising deadlines and the facts we give you
about our race.

So here’s the deal.

We have a federal fundraising deadline on September 30. That means we’ll
have to soon disclose how much we’ve raised over the past three months.

Reporting a strong number can deter super PACs from spending big on attack
ads on Katie, and it’ll ensure we have the resources to sign off on the
important spending decisions we’ll be making soon to reach as many
undecided voters as possible before the California primary in six months.
