Friends — Here’s the truth: I wouldn’t send this email if I didn’t feel I had to.
I don’t like to send too many emails to you. And I try not to reach out on a Sunday when many folks are rightfully taking some time for themselves.
But the reason I’m reaching out despite that is because, frankly, we’re behind on our goals and we are just a week away from our big FEC fundraising deadline.
The good news is that a week is certainly enough time to get back on track. Based on our math, only a few hundred more people would need to make a contribution for us to beat our deadline goals. That’s less than 0.1% of the people who make up this progressive movement.
And if we did beat our goals, we would be able to send a serious message to the establishment, the far-right, and the corporate Super PACs that a grassroots campaign like ours has the support and the resources to go up against them and win.
So, I have to ask:
