Derail The Tories After-Party - Strike Solidarity and RMT Fundraiser
Sun Oct 1st, Band on the Wall, Northern Quarter
Doors open at 5pm and music starts at 6pm
An after demo event organised by Gig Economy Mcr. This will be a night of live music, comradery, solidarity and resistance to raise money for local branches of the mighty R.M.T union strike fund. They write, 'As a shower of inept and morally bankrupt scam artists continue to drag us into despair, the least we can do is come together to celebrate who we are and show that we will continue to rise and build collective strength. So together, let's laugh, sing, dance, plot, and raise money for those who are fighting on the front line of the worker’s movement in Britain and stand in solidarity with the workers of the world'.

'Music line up:
Yemi Bolatiwa (Neo-Soul), Motormouf (Looping Beatbox/Hip-Hop), No Rest for the Surfers (Punk), Barbarism (Post-Punk), More TB'A

They are looking for volunteers to help with the event and raffle prizes if you're able to donate it would be much appreciated. Also union and campaign banners to decorate the room. See their Facebook event here ([link removed]) .'
