Dear John,
Today is National Public Lands Day! And, it’s also Wilderness Month as declared by a proclamation by President Biden.
But, unfortunately, our Public Lands are under attack.
Right now, a bill that would overturn our hard-fought protections for the Boundary Waters is making its way through Congress.
This bill would REVERSE the Biden Administration’s science-based 20-year mining ban in the watershed of the Boundary Waters that was granted in January.
But we are laser-focused on preventing that from happening.
You can help us fight to protect the Boundary Waters right now because in honor of National Public Lands Day, Save the Boundary Waters has been offered a rare 48-hour DOUBLE match to protect the Boundary Waters [[link removed]] .

Representative Stauber and his anti-Wilderness buddies in Congress are doing everything they can to destroy the protections we achieved earlier this year. But we won’t let that happen. This fall, we will be in DC, fighting tooth and nail for Canoe Country.
Rush a 2X gift today in honor of Public Lands Day to fund our expert legal, scientific, and policy work that MUST prevail in order to protect this precious Wilderness truly.
