2️⃣ The GOP doubled down on their efforts to CUT Social Security benefits for MILLIONS of Americans, attempting to attach it to debt ceiling legislation.
3️⃣ But President Biden refused to sign off on ANY cuts and stood up to the GOP, protecting Social Security ONCE AGAIN!

Now, GOP House Speaker Kevin McCarthy has announced the formation of a commission dedicated to “investigating” potential cuts to Social Security and Medicare — and even warned that he’ll make some people “uncomfortable”!
