I’m doing whatever it takes to restore reproductive rights because they are under assault like we’ve never seen before.

These days, each and every Republican candidate for president supports abortion bans in some form — including some who support national bans.

It’s despicable that these politicians think they should make decisions about a woman’s own health care. In recent months, state legislatures across the country have passed laws to punish women who get abortions, their doctors, and sometimes even prosecutors who choose not to prosecute people under certain abortion laws.

As the only Senator to have worked at Planned Parenthood, I know the importance of fighting for reproductive justice, especially as we see these rights stripped away day by day.

We need to make some big changes — and I’m fighting tirelessly in the Senate to pass crucial legislation like the Women’s Health Protection Act and the Protecting Access to Medication Abortion Act.

We can’t wait any longer to enshrine abortion rights into federal law. I’m willing to do whatever it takes to get it done.
