For a lot of women living in the South, Virginia is the closest place where they can safely access abortion care.

Take a look at the restrictions in the surrounding states:

Virginia is the only remaining southern state with full access to abortion, but if the GOP takes over the legislature, Glenn Youngkin will have the votes to pass an abortion ban.

If abortion is banned in Virginia, women living in the South would have to drive all the way to Maryland or Illinois to receive the care they need.

That is unacceptable, John, and it’s why we need to fight tooth and nail to keep the GOP from taking away our rights in Virginia.
