You probably haven’t received an email like this from a candidate running for office. Today, I’m only asking you to chip in one dollar (that’s right - one dollar) toward my grassroots campaign.

I know this may seem like a strange request. How can four quarters be put to use in a toss-up race like ours?

It can do a whole lot.

At the end of September, our campaign is required by the FEC to report our fundraising for the quarter. These public numbers will be aggressively watched by supporters and especially competitors, and you better believe John James and Michigan Republicans are going to be poring through our records for any signs of vulnerability.

More importantly, your contribution fuels our campaign: every dollar is another volunteer; another door knocked; another yard sign up; another mile in our tank as we move across the district to meet voters where they are.

As a financial planner, I understand the value of early investment. Often that includes setting goals, but more importantly - meeting them. So far, running for Congress isn’t much different than that. And the fact of the matter is that most of our online support comes from emails just like this one.

That’s why I’m reaching out today. I am here to build a grassroots campaign to show the Republicans that there is a movement growing to take back this seat. Whether you have given before or not, each $1 donation makes a difference.

We’re doing all we can to defeat MAGA Republican John James Rep. and bring real representation back to our district, but we need your support to build the framework we need to get there.
