[1]Lucas Kunce for U.S. Senate
John — my
commitment to running a people-powered campaign is deeper than just
refusing money from corporate PACs or mega-donors. It means putting in the
work, showing up, and listening to real Missourians who’ve witnessed our
communities be stripped for parts by corrupt politicians like Josh Hawley.
So before I ask you to chip in to my grassroots campaign, please let me
share a few of my favorite moments from traveling the state over these
last few weeks.

We kicked things off with a town hall near where I grew up in mid-Missouri
— and they told me it was the biggest crowd they’ve ever had for a
Democrat in Moniteau County! These folks are fired up to defeat Josh
Hawley, invest in workers, and finally rebuild communities across our
state.

A few days later in St. Louis County, hundreds of Missourians joined our
rally to defeat Josh Hawley and flip this Senate seat. Working people are
tired of being controlled, exploited, and left behind by the massive
corporations and corrupt politicians calling the shots in Washington.
They’re ready to take back their power, and this Senate seat.

St. Joe always shows up, and this time was no different.
After our town hall, someone shared a story of struggle with me that’s too
common in Missouri. They worked hard and did well in school, but at 28
still can’t get a good job near home. One of their parents had a union job
that used to take care of their family until the assembly line got shut
down.
Working families in our state deserve a future. They deserve access to
good jobs. And they deserve to have power over their own lives. That’s
what I’m fighting for in this race — for their future, and the future of
Missourians for generations to come.

I walked the picket line with striking workers from UAW Local 2250 at the
GM plant in Wentzville. Corporate elites have been robbing American auto
workers for years, and I’m proud to stand in solidarity with these workers
as they fight for a new contract with fair pay, benefits, and the job
security they deserve.

Finally, I headed down to visit with folks at Truman Day in Lawrence
County. From taking power back for Missouri workers, to ending Big Brother
control over our lives and bodies — they’re fired up about all the things
we can get done for our state and our country after we beat Josh Hawley.

Everyday Missourians are driving this movement forward every step of the
way — and I’m just so grateful to everyone who has taken the time to share
their story with me over the past few weeks. But we still have a lot of
work ahead of us, so I have to ask:
[ [link removed] ]Will you add a donation of $10 or anything at all so we
can defeat Josh Hawley and take this Senate seat back for everyday,
working Missourians? This is our best shot to flip a GOP-held U.S. Senate
seat in 2024, so your support right now could make all the difference for
our campaign.
