I hope this newsletter finds you well. This week has been incredibly significant in the House Budget Committee as we unveiled our "Reverse the Curse" Budget Resolution for fiscal year 2024. James Madison, the fourth President of the United States, once wisely proclaimed, "A public debt is a public curse," and his words ring true to this day.

I stood with fellow members of the House Budget Committee in support of this resolution, that would balance our budget in 10 years, resulting in savings of over $16 trillion for hardworking Americans.

Our budget proposal addresses the pressing needs of our citizens while reining in excessive spending. With this resolution, we are setting a course toward financial stability and prosperity for generations to come. It's a testament to our commitment to fiscal responsibility and securing a brighter future for all.
