Did you know that Battleground Texas’ 7th birthday was this week?

Instead of stopping to celebrate, we’ve been putting in overtime, planning out exactly where we can register the most voters to make Texas more competitive in this election. (Don’t worry, we did take a couple a minutes to eat some cake).

Right now, our volunteers and organizers are gearing up for some big voter registration pushes throughout the state.

So in lieu of cards or balloons, the only birthday present we’re asking for is your help funding a Voter Registration Kit for our team.

We’ve calculated that each kit costs $43, and we’ve got hundreds of people across the state registering new voters -- that’s a lot of resources we need to make sure they’ve got everything they need to get as many Texans registered as possible.

You know what’s at stake in this election. And you know we can’t afford four more years of a Republican-controlled Senate, White House, and State Legislature.
