Here are just a few of the ongoing projects your matched gift
will support:
* Expansion: Everglades National Park. The largest wilderness east
of the Mississippi needs you,
John. Once a lush, 3 million-acre refuge for
untold plants and wildlife, the Everglades now covers just half
its peak range. Less than a third of that range is under public
protection. With member support, we've helped add 48,000 acres
of this mesmerizing marsh to Everglades National Park and will
continue working to expand the park. Help protect this
essential wilderness >>

* Connection: Sweetwater Preserve and Saguaro National Park. Trust
for Public Land is embarking on a land protection project in
Saguaro National Park, a critical wilderness access point just
outside of Tucson, Arizona. By connecting nearby Sweetwater
Preserve to the park, we can protect wildlife roaming between
mountains and foothills and expand recreational opportunities
for the millions of people who live near and visit the park each
year. Make a difference in the Sonoran Desert >>

* Community: 14 Schoolyards Projects. While our roots are in
large-scale public land protection, Trust for Public Land also
develops multiuse outdoor spaces right in our communities. By
transforming empty schoolyards into green spaces accessible to
the public when school is out, we can put a great park within a
10-minute walk of more than 80 million people! We have 14 such
Community Schoolyards® projects currently in the works. Build
community across the country with your gift >>

To create the healthy, sustainable future we all need to thrive, we
need people engaged in the challenging but fulfilling work of creating
more shared, protected outdoor spaces.

engaged, John. Make your
