John: The federal government will shut down in less than two weeks if Speaker McCarthy and the MAGA extremists in Congress continue their charade.

Months ago, President Biden and the Democrats put together a bipartisan budget plan, but now the GOP isn't holding up their end of the bargain. If they can't get it together, hundreds of thousands of workers will lose their jobs, and countless Americans won't be able to access the services they depend on.

In my district here in Philly, 24 of our community health centers are at risk of losing funding.

Federal grants largely fund these health centers. So, if they have to start cutting costs, low-income families and individuals relying on health centers will lose access to affordable care.

Speaker Kevin McCarthy's failed leadership and his MAGA allies in the House are the only ones standing in the way of a solution and an averted shutdown. I've had enough.
