Dear Friend,

National Public Lands Day is tomorrow. But wolves in the Yellowstone area are being slaughtered mercilessly. And private interests like trophy hunters and Big Polluters are making matters
worse. They’re teaming up to push against protections for these helpless
canines. All for the sake of profit.

We won’t stand by and watch them win. That's why we've set an ambitious goal of $60,000 for National Public Lands
Day. Because you've been such an essential supporter, we created a custom
donation link you can use to be the FIRST to contribute. So please, rush your
donation today! Here's your link:

[[link removed]]This National Public Lands Day, there’s never been a better time to stand up for
vulnerable species like wolves and the planet. But why should we protect them?
Well, wolves are keystone species. They help keep elk and deer populations in
check, allowing other plant and animal species to thrive. What’s more, the
remains of their kills redistribute nutrients and feed scavengers. They play a
vital role in our wild spaces like Yellowstone, yet they're being hunted relentlessly.

If trophy hunters manage to wipe out wolves, that would leave their lands
defenseless. Big Polluters would be able to swoop in and use the land for their
own profit. That means mining, logging, factory farming, and other
planet-harming practices. Once these habitats are destroyed, wolves will stand no chance at recovering. All so greedy interests can get their payday.

That’s why our National Public Lands Day goal means so much to our vulnerable
wolves, the public lands they roam, and our planet. I know you recognize how
high the stakes are. Which is why I'm reaching out to you today to be part of
this select group for early access.

[[link removed]]A mere 6,000 wolves occupy less than 10% of their historic range in the lower 48
states. And with the recent slaughter of 25 Yellowstone wolves, only 89 remain in the national park.

It's not an accident. Trophy hunters and Big Polluters are benefiting from the
lack of Endangered Species Act protections for these wolves. But the ESA doesn’t
just protect wolves. It’s a vital piece of legislation that stands between a
healthy planet and rampant pollution. Without the ESA, countless communities
would suffer the impacts of unchecked mining, fracking, and drilling.

We need to stop this before it's too late.
