Every month, each of King County Metro?s seven transit bases select an Operator of the Month. Each demonstrates safe driving skills, is courteous and helpful, and pays conscientious attention to attendance appearance and discipline.?The operators who drive your bus are as unique as you, and all of them love driving and giving back to their community. They are our ?rolling ambassadors,? the kind, courteous and helpful smile that greets you every day when you ride with us.?
King County Metro has also presented, the much awaited, Operator of the Year Award to Bus Operator Lisa Nault.??The Operator of the Year award is our highest employee award,? said Phil DeVault, Interim Division Director of Bus Operations. ?This honor is voted on by peers?other transit operators. Operators receiving this award have demonstrated the highest level of customer service, safety performance, and engagement in their work. These honorees are truly ambassadors for Metro and exemplify King County?s commitment to excellence in public service.?
