John, there is no question we are facing a climate emergency and need to take climate action now. From unprecedented tropical storms to wildfires and record heat, the effects of global warming are growing more apparent – and deadly – with every passing day. 

We need serious climate action today – and that starts with passing the Green New Deal. I'm ready to fight tooth and nail in the Senate to pass this landmark legislation, but I need to know you're with me. So, I'm asking:

John, don't let the Big Oil execs fool you: Renewable energy is cheaper than fossil fuels, creates better jobs and – most importantly – doesn't kill the planet. 

That's why I'm committed to realizing President Biden's ambitious vision of slashing greenhouse gas pollution in half by 2030 and achieving a net zero emissions economy by 2050. And you have my word that I'll never stop supporting the Green New Deal to tackle the climate crisis head on while creating green jobs and modernizing our infrastructure.
