As the Commissioner of Public Lands, I've always been dedicated to effectively harnessing our state's resources to address the challenges we face.
One of our top priorities at the Department of Natural Resources is to support public education in Washington.
We recently sold land to the Richland School District. I am proud that this sale will enable growth for our public schools and allow us to purchase lands that will better serve us across the state.
But, John, our work is far from complete. As I run for governor, I am committed to ensuring that every facet of our state government collaborates effectively to address our challenges.
