On Thursday September 28th, we’ll be officially launching our Green New Deal for Schools Campaign, alongside Rep. Jamaal Bowman (D-NY) as he introduces the Green New Deal for Public Schools Act of 2023 – landmark legislation that's all about taking back our schools.

Hundreds of students from all across the country are coming together in D.C. to lobby our congressional leaders in support of the Green New Deal for Public Schools Act. And I want you, John, to be part of this historic moment with us.

This past summer, we hosted a summer camp to train hundreds of students from around the country to take on their school districts and demand a Green New Deal. Since then, over 50 school Sunrise hubs have already started organizing… but we know that in order to win the GND, we’ll need even more people to join our fight.

This is our generation's chance to combat the climate crisis, create millions of good union jobs, and invest billions in improving our K-12 public schools. It's about securing our future while making education greener, fairer, and more inclusive.
