Folks,

The Senate is finally taking action against Tuberville’s assault on our military.

After months of delay, Gen. Charles Q. Brown has been confirmed as the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs. This is a win for the readiness of our troops and the strength of our national security. But by no means is it the end of our war against Tuberville and the mindless obstructionism of MAGA.

There are still 300 more positions that remain vacant. That’s 300 families who remain in limbo. And 300 needless vulnerabilities in our military apparatus.

We need to continue to be vocal and shine a spotlight on this military blockade and every member who supports it.

I’d also like to point out this: eleven Republican Senators voted against Gen. Brown, a man who couldn’t have been more qualified for the position. And of those eleven opposing votes, seven came from first-term Senators.

The lesson is that elections always matter. And the newer crop of Republican candidates are MAGA extremists through and through. The day of the conservative Republican who prioritizes national security is over.

That has been replaced by this new batch of extremists, who are hell-bent on burning our government to the ground for the sake of political gamesmanship.

In 2024, we can’t afford seven more MAGA radicals to take seats in the greatest legislative body in the world.

We need to continue to fight in every race across the country. We’re facing a dangerous political minority in our country. But we have the upper hand. The vast majority of American voters are still patriots who support our democracy and our Constitution.

This election season is all about activating those voters. That’s why I’ll be continuing to travel around the country and supporting the candidates who are fighting to defeat MAGA extremists. That will mean getting them on the record to answer for Tuberville and the extremism we’re seeing in the Senate. Can I count on your support? [[link removed]]
