Sen. Cornyn and shadowy outside groups will try to boost our opponent. We’re almost certain of this because it’s part of Sen. Cornyn’s playbook, and his ally Mitch McConnell is already doing it in states like North Carolina.
Experts at Roll Call and The Washington Post say that Senator Cornyn is one of the top ten most vulnerable senators, so he and his allies will spend big to boost the opponent they think will be weaker in a general election -- and that won’t be MJ. As an important part of this team, I wanted to give you a straightforward look ahead into the next few weeks, but this primary isn’t over yet. While there’s every indication we’re in the lead heading into the primary, we don’t put much stock in public polling. We are not taking this primary for granted.
