DOWNTOWN/GREAT FALLS PLAZA: Tuesday, September 26 at 10:00AM & Wednesday, September 27 at 5:00PM. Gather at the Hilton Garden Inn Auburn Riverwatch.

WASHBURN/TURNER STREET NEIGHBORHOOD: Tuesday, September 26 at 5:00PM. Gather at the Lake Auburn Towne House (74 Lake Auburn Avenue).

Share your input on the "walkability" of these neighborhoods. All ages are welcome and walks will be held rain or shine. ADA accessible. Water & snacks will be provided.

AGE-FRIENDLY COMMITTEE HOSTS CLOTHING DRIVE

Auburn’s Age-Friendly Community Committee is organizing a clothing donation drive for those in need in our community.

New, unused clothing and cash donations can be dropped off at the Auburn Senior Community Center (near Auburn Recreation in Pettengill Park) between 9:00AM and 4:00PM weekdays. Alternatively, residents can contact Ward 5 City Councilor Leroy Walker at [email protected] to schedule drop-offs.

Warm outerwear, rain gear, sweatshirts, pants, socks, hats, blankets, and other protective items of clothing are greatly needed.

The committee will distribute the collected items on October 7 from 2:00-4:00PM at the Auburn Public Library. Anyone in need can attend this event and pick up clothing and other essential items. Public transportation to the library is available via citylink bus.

SHOPS AT ANNIVERSARY PARK: Art & Books!

Join us for the second "Shops at Anniversary Park" event - this time around, the theme is "Art & Books!"

Join us in Anniversary Park (Second Street in New Auburn) on Thursday, September 28 between 4:00 & 7:00PM. We will have local art & book vendors, local authors selling & signing their books, a book & fine art sale with the Auburn Public Library.

There will also be a children's story time with some special guest readers, and a FREE paint party hosted by Wicked Illustrations!
