The Office of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (ODHH) seeks a Community Resources Program Manager [ [link removed] ] to join their team.

The manager's primary responsibility will be to identify and organize resources and programs for the community. They will collaborate with the office staff to determine the resources and programs required and assist the community in identifying unmet needs for Deaf, DeafBlind, Deaf Disabled, Hard of Hearing, or Speech Impaired individuals. The manager will support case manager staff who work directly with clients. Additionally, the manager will also promote the ODHH programs offered to the public.

Applicants must have a college degree in social work, health, public administration, or a related field. They should have at least three years of experience working in a job that assists individuals with social, financial, health, or chemical dependency problems. Additionally, applicants should be fluent in American Sign Language, and have expertise in Deaf Culture and legal rights for people who are Deaf, DeafBlind, or Hard of Hearing.

This position primarily involves remote work, with occasional travel requirements. Additionally, the successful candidate may be required to work evenings and weekends to attend events and meetings.

The Office works to eliminate communication barriers and promote equal opportunities in various service areas, including training, consultation, contract management, information and referrals, and resources to promote communication equity.

Coordination: ODHH is a centralized resource. The Office collaborates with governmental, business, and community stakeholders to develop and implement policies, programs, and initiatives that address and ensure that state services and resources are accessible and inclusive to all Washingtonians.
