I felt moved to send you all a short personal note from me today given all the incredible work our team has done this week (so any errors here are all mine!); there are some things really you shouldn't miss:
First, continuing in our bipartisan spirit, we had incredible events and meetings in New York--first at the Clinton Global Initiative (CGI), and then with the Manhattan Institute event in accordance with the New York Times' Ross Douthat, that you can still check out here. At the CGI event, the Foundation for Drug Policy Solutions made steady progress, and we were able to discuss good drug policy with everyone from Matt Damon to John Kerry.
But that's not all: Our EVP, Luke Niforatos, penned an insightful op-ed in the Colorado Sun, our Parent Action Network conducted a webinar on navigating recovery solutions, our Government Affairs team is working overtime on the SAFE (now SAFER, apparently) Banking Act and CURE (please sign our letter here), and we are continuing to work the marijuana scheduling decision behind the scenes (you can read our take on scheduling here and here).
We also continue to be very active in Oregon so we can reform the flawed Measure 110 and deliver recovery to many more people.
Without your help, none of this could be possible. Thank you!
