On paper, Jim Jordan leads the Judiciary Committee but he really only pretends to be Chairman: he has unabashedly weaponized the committee in order to smear and attack Joe Biden and prop up Donald Trump. So when Attorney General Garland appeared before the Judiciary Committee this week, Jordan and his MAGA trolls attacked and threatened him with contempt of Congress.

You have got to be kidding me, right?! Jim Jordan, the man who ignored and defied a lawfully-issued subpoena by the January 6th Committee, has ZERO credibility when it comes to respecting Congressional procedure. No wonder he flunked the bar twice.

My friend Eric Swalwell came ready to expose this ridiculous hypocrisy. Rep. Swalwell displayed a “subpoena evasion clock” showing Jordan’s nearly 500 days (and counting) of defying a valid subpoena for information related to Trump’s attempt to overturn the 2020 election:

Jim Jordan deserves to be humiliated—he conspired to overthrow a democratic election, swept under the rug legitimate claims of sexual abuse while a coach at OSU, and constantly lies and abuses his power to protect himself and Trump.
