John, the critical end-of-quarter fundraising deadline is just over a week away, so we’ve pulled together some quick notes to update our supporters on where things stand:

• We’re currently making good progress toward our fundraising goal. If grassroots supporters like you continue to chip in $5, $10, or whatever you can to emails like this one, we should easily hit our target.
• Last quarter, our grassroots team helped us exceed our fundraising goal. According to our rough calculations, we should be able to do that again this quarter if 16 people from Pennsylvania pitch in before midnight tonight.
