Good news, John!

In a *huge* reversal of Trump-era promises to Big Oil, President Biden has
canceled massive oil drilling projects. Not only that, he also announced
the American Climate Corps, a top priority for the climate justice
movement. These are BIG WINS for not only our movement but the future of
our planet.

The climate crisis is already here and its effects will be felt for
generations to come. Canceling these projects is a big step forward for
climate justice and protecting our environment.

President Biden has shown the kind of leadership we need to save our Earth
— but our work can't stop here. Declaring a climate emergency is the next
crucial step to ensuring that our voices are heard and our futures are
protected.

In the immediate future, we must continue putting pressure on Big Oil and
their lobbyists and expose their lies about fossil fuels. And we must
continue advancing infrastructure investments to secure our schools,
hospitals, homes and communities from further climate impacts to come.

continue leading the way and declare a climate emergency.
