Congress has yet to pass full government funding for next year, setting up the dangerous possibility of a government shutdown and loss of pay for federal workers across the country.

House representatives were allowed to leave on Thursday, even though a deal has not been made, while government workers across the nation will show up to work on Saturday and Sunday as normal.
