Since the loss of Roe, we’ve seen extremist governors and state legislatures nationwide doing everything they can to restrict access to reproductive health services.

These extreme and harsh pieces of legislation we’re seeing are causing great harm and stress to women — making it harder for them to receive necessary reproductive health care. Despite this, we’ve seen glimmers of hope across the country.

Since June 2022, seven states have had access to abortion on the ballot, and each time, we’ve seen abortion rights prevail. From Montana to Kentucky and Ohio, time and time again, we’ve seen that protecting reproductive rights is a non-negotiable for a majority of voters.

The Murphy Administration has worked hard to ensure New Jersey is a safe haven for individuals seeking reproductive health care. Governor Murphy will always protect reproductive health services, including abortion access, and providers who deliver this necessary health care.
